Homeschool Days

SCM's Homeschool Days is a monthly program for homeschool students and their families. Homeschool Days provides homeschool students with a fun-filled learning experience full of educational programming and museum play!

During Homeschool Days, one all-ages class is offered exclusively to Homeschool Students during the Museum's open hours. Classes are appropriate for Grades Preschool-2 and may include science, art, music, cultural, and/or literacy classes.

Fall 2018 (September - December)

Classes will be held every second Thursday of the month from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Class registration is required.

DECEMBER 13, 2018: Ice Investigations

During this winter season, let’s take a closer look at ice! We will investigate the properties of ice through a series of hands-on science explorations. Students will conduct experiments to answer the following questions: What is the best insulator for keeping ice cold? How does frost form? Which substances dissolve ice the fastest?

Spring 2019 (January - May)
