  • Sunday - 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Members-Only Hours: Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (We have discontinued our Thursday Members-Only Nights)
  • Closed on Mondays (except as noted - see below)


  • General Admission (children and adults) - $8.50
  • Over 60 & Military - $6.00
  • Children under 1 - Free
  • EVERY TUESDAY: $2 Off Admission Discount Day!

  • November 22 - Thanksgiving Day - CLOSED

Getting Here

Sacramento Children's Museum is located at: 2701 Prospect Park Drive, Suite 120, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
We are located off of U.S. Highway 50, off of the Zinfandel Drive exit. The Museum is in the same parking lot as Rancho Cordova City Hall.
From Sacramento: Take Eastbound Highway 50 toward South Lake Tahoe. Exit the Zinfandel Drive exit and drive straight through the stoplight. At the first stop sign, turn right. The Museum will be located on the right  
From Folsom: Take Westbound Highway 50 toward Sacramento. Exit the Zinfandel Drive exit, and turn left at the stoplight. Go straight until you get to White Rock Drive, then turn left. At the next stoplight, turn left. The Museum will be located on the left.


Visiting SCM will give your students a hands-on, multi-sensory, exhibit-based experience! If you have not been to SCM, we invite teachers to come see what we have to offer with a free walk-through of the Museum with a staff member!
