Reflecting our diverse community, the Sacramento Children’s Museum creates playful, interactive and multisensory learning experiences for children of all ages. Our museum provides a space where all kids can learn through hands on play with the caring adults in their lives.
A Membership With Us Includes:

- Member-only hours (Tue-Sun, 9-10 am)

IMPORTANT – All memberships, including gift memberships, become active on the day of purchase and expire one year from the date of purchase. All memberships must include at least one child and one adult. Not all members need to live in the same household. Membership benefits are not transferable. Memberships are non-refundable.

Reciprocal Benefits
Your membership is the gift that keeps on giving!
With a Play Date or Family Membership you and your family receive the added reciprocal benefit of discounted admission to hundreds of children’s museums throughout the country!
Present your e-membership card with an Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) logo at any participating museum and get discounted or free admission (card holder must be present). Reciprocal benefits may include free and/or discounted admission to exhibitions as well as discounts in museum stores and cafés around the United States.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you contact each institution for their reciprocity policy before attending. Reciprocal privileges may be restricted for special ticketed exhibitions.
Virtual Membership e-Card
We found an opportunity to make your life easier and help the environment! never worry about forgetting your membership card again. By downloading the “E-Membership” App, your membership e-card will be readily available on your phone. Every time you visit us, simply check in at the front desk with your e-card.
- Download and install the E-membership App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Open the E-membership App and select the SCM tile (Leo’s Face)
- Click on Find My Membership Cards (this step will only need to be performed once)
- Enter a phone number (if you are uncertain of which phone number we have listed in your membership account, we can verify it for you)
- Enter the first few letters of your last name. Click Find
- Click Show My Membership Cards. The cards will remain within the digital folder for the duration of your active membership.

Homeschool families! We offer the option to use school funds toward the purchase of a membership. Join us to discover the benefits of being part of our community. Submit a request through your school ordering request system.
