Join SCM for our annual celebration of grandparents and the important roles they play in our lives and our community. This outdoor event includes hands-on activities and live music by the Ukapalians. Coffee and juice are provided! This event will be held on Sunday, September 13th from 10:30am – 12pm.
Be sure to pick up your butterfly by 11am for the 11:30am release—you’ll need plenty of time to warm them up and get them ready to fly!
Please note: This is an outdoor event and a butterfly purchase does not include museum admission. Our butterflies are locally sourced, raised, and handled with the best care. The butterflies are released back into the environment that they already exist in. After a release, the butterflies will live the rest of their natural lives in the wild.
